In July we celebrate the feast of Peak Matagalls; from 8 to 11 September, the annual festival. The popular Chestnut Fair in late October, brings together thousands of visitors in search of nature, culture and gastronomy. Chestnuts and mushrooms are the undisputed protagonists.

Viladrau is a starting point for many roads and trails to get into the natural park of Montseny.

Half Viladrau municipality is within the Natural Park of Montseny, included by UNESCO in the world network of biosphere reserves. It has an area of 30,000 ha of forests of oak, beech, oak and fir trees, and heights of 1700m with some spectacular views that change throughout the year.

Viladrau is a good place to use as a starting point for interesting destinations, located in a radius of about 70 kms as the Pyrenees, the city of Barcelona and the Costa Brava.
